I-25 Speedway & Motorstats.com Team Up
For Release-March 17th 2010-Track
Operations
I-25 Speedway has teamed up with Motorstats of Durham, North
Carolina. The business officially opened in November of 2007 and is a subsidiary
of Racing United. (Racing United is the parent company of Motorstats. The
purpose of Racing United is to create and promote motorsports products to
support the four primary elements of racing: the fans, the sponsors, the
competitors and the facilities etc. You'll learn more about Racing United in the
future - we have some new and original racing "stuff" in the pipeline).
Whats that mean for I-25 Speedway & you the driver?
Motorstats will be incorporated into the I-25 website, information gained at each
event (from our tower officials/transponders) will be posted through Motorstats
Website Horsepower ™ giving you information pertaining to each event, Race
Results, Point Standings, Event Schedules, and for you the driver, your own
Professionally designed web page FREE that will automatically be created
for each driver. Each driver is encourage to sign up and receive your FREE
web page.
On the HOME page of Motorstats you'll see a tab at the TOP that says "Driver
Sign Up". Just click on that tab and fill out a little bit of info (such as
name, phone number, email address, birth city/state and birth date). Sandy King
notes, "We'll get a notification....get 'em in the system and then we'll send
them their login and temporary password (they can change later). So you know,
Motorstats will never show your birthday...only your age. Also, note that we are
adding a lot more features coming in the next few months such as galleries where
you can post more pictures etc..."
Sandy King & Chris Graner are great bunch of folks, easy to work with and VERY
professional. Chris was raised with "Beacon Hill", Pikes Peak Speedway, Colorado
Springs International, and all the other surfaces we have all grown up with.
